Hello, I'm Beth.
I see art-making as a spiritual journey—an unfolding conversation with the soul and the Divine.
Based in Colorado, I’m a Certified Paint From Your Soul guide, a self-taught artist, a retired art educator, and a former registered nurse. I'm also a proud mom and Gma to a large and lively brood. Every role I've held, every path I've walked, weaves into my work—each stroke a thread of healing, connection, and truth.
In recent years, my art practice has become something much deeper—a spiritual path, a source of profound healing. The spiritual practice of Visio Divina, which means “seeing the Divine”, has long been part of the church, but is experiencing renewed interest in recent years. I began to see its significance as a personal practice starting around 2013. Through each piece I’ve created, they have revealed and healed parts of my story. I’ve learned I can trusting the process, as well as the One who desires to speak to us and teach us. Through this practice I have experienced increased peace as the outcome. I have seen God use this practice in my own life and healing, and the transformation has been so real that I can’t keep it to myself.
So I want to share it with you too. This kind of art doesn’t require mastery. It doesn’t even require skill. It only asks for your honesty, your willingness to be open with your own soul.
I’m sending this to you as an invitation. To explore, to heal, to create—not to impress, but to express. You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.
